Early life
Moved half way across the United States at 4 years old with my parents to Texas from California. This transition was drastic at such a young age but I adapted quickly.
At age 12 my life changed with my parents separating. I moved in with my Dad and had to start all over again… new school, now house, & new friends.
At the time I didn’t know it but it was the best transition that happened to me early on. It taught me how to adapt quickly in life, something that even most adults have struggles with.
Constant change was something that was prevalent for me growing up, this taught me to grow under pressure.
“Don’t wait for an opportunity, create the opportunity.”
This motto has ran strong throughout my life. Life doesn’t change for you, you are the only one who can change your own life.
I’ve been a risk taker growing up and its taught me many lessons. If I waited around for something to change it would never happen.
I ended up moving out at 18 years old to start my new life. I was building my whole life by myself and starting over.
With time I finished college debt free on my own, moved to a new city with my boyfriend, and got the job of my dreams!
All of these amazing thing came with discipline and challenges. I’m truly very grateful to be learning and working everyday to strive to new heights!
